A single professional father located in Columbus (about 25-30 minutes from east Madison) is seeking a professional Nanny-Household Manager to start as soon as possible. He has three sons’ that are ages 4, 3 and 18 months old. He is seeking someone that is extremely organized and experienced in running all aspects of a household who can anticipate childcare as well as household needs. The Nanny must have a lot of flexibility as the schedule may change in the near future. The childcare hours may vary but typically he will need the nanny to be available on Wednesday from 11am-7pm, Friday from 3:30p.m. to 8:00p.m, Saturday all day (6:30am-8:00pm) and all day “every other” Sunday. The father will require assistance with the evening routine and need help putting the children to bed. During the day when they children are not present household management duties will include errands/grocery shopping, laundry and meal preparation for lunch and dinner (his does not require anything fancy or “special” for dinner). The nanny can choose their own hours to provide the household management duties while the children are not present. He will require the nanny to work about 40 hours per week and will provide a full time salary. Flexibility is very important for this position. The salary range for this position is flexible depending on previous and successful nanny experience including a full benefits package with health insurance, paid vacation, paid sick/personal days and 401K after 1 year. A single professional woman located in Fitchburg is seeking a full time nanny to start in October. She has one daughter that is 5 years old who lives with her bi- weekly and twin boys that are due end of September/ early October. The hours may vary but typically will be Monday-Friday from 7:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. A certain measure of flexibility is important, for example there may be a need to start at 7am and/or finish at 5:30pm (guarantee of at least 40 hours per week, up to 50). The main duties required are first and foremost, quality care for the children. She would ideally like a nanny who has experience in caring for multiples, but infant experience is a must. Secondary duties will include light housekeeping, helping to keep areas tidy, washing the children’s clothes and child-related learning activities. She describes her ideal nanny as organized, reliable, tidy, nurturing, honest, dependable, flexible and fun-loving! The salary range for this position is flexible depending on previous and successful nanny experience including paid vacation, holidays off with pay and paid sick/personal days. She will also consider money towards health insurance if required. A longer term commitment is preferred.
