Since 1998 Nanny Connections has specialized in the exclusive placement of full-time and part-time nannies, mother's helpers, home managers and family assistants. Our agency works with you to find the best position with a family that matches your skills and helps you further your childcare career. Our placements are based on matching personality, mutual beliefs, experience and solid references.

We meet with both candidates and families in person and provide a safe and detailed matching system devoted to meeting the family's and the nanny's mutual needs. We believe that mutual respect and open communication are key ingredients to having a smooth working relationship with you and your employer. We are proud members of the International Nanny Association and respect the contributions of individuals involved in professional in-home childcare. Our staff has worked as nannies and understands what it is like to work in the profession. We can happily answer any questions you may have related to the industry and offer guidance and support throughout the placement process and beyond. THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS

ARE REQUIRED:

Age:

Candidates must be at least 19 years old and must have graduated from high school or obtained a GED. Many candidates have college experience or completed course work in education or child development.

Experience:

Childcare experience is required with references that we can verify. Candidates may have a broad range of experience, but it must pertain to the position you are applying for. We require at least 2-3 child care references that can verify your experience and reliability.

Driving:

A driver's license is required for most positions and a motor vehicle investigation is completed prior to placement as a nanny.

Background:

A complete criminal background investigation is completed on all potential candidates prior to placement with a family.

Residency Requirement:

All candidates must furnish proof of US citizenship or eligibility to work as a legal alien.

Commitment:

Typically candidates must be willing to commit for at least 1 year with a family. Per request, we occasionally will work with families requiring temporary and summer placements.
